It is important to understand the commitment you make when listing a home. We have heard of cases where the seller has been told that they were obliged to sell just on the basis of the listing agreement.
Most Real Estate Agents take a reasonable approach but some are very hard to deal with. We will explain to you the 'in's and out's'.
For example when you are a seller you will be obliged in most cases to pay for the Title Insurance. This can run into many $000's but you will not know that all closing agents do not charge the same price for this insurance. We can help you find the best priced.
You may not understand that Property Taxes are paid in arrears so if you sell half way through the year you will actually have to pay into the deal 6 months property taxes. Again this can run into many $000's
